Am leaving this Saturday from WV to vacation for a week in Sedona. I know the Red Rocks are there, and that we'll be 2 hours from the South Rim and want to see that. What else is there I should see during this week? Is it cool to visit an Indian reservation and what can u do there? Am not a huge fan of museums. Will also want to take the helicopter thru the Grand Canyon and SHOP! Thanks a lot, locals!

Traveling to Flagstaff?
I will be travelilng out west... I arrive in the afternoon by car and have one full day there after that. What is your advice on car rental (economy, compact)? Any suggestions on how to spend the little time there .... I was thinking directly to see the sunset at Grand Canyon... I hear there is a wonderful Indian restaurant in Flagstaff... anyone know the name or location...Please advise on where to eat also important I want to take everything I can in in these 2 days... I was reading about Sedona red rock is there a specific park I should drive to?
Why are the rocks in sedona Arizona Red?
i have to go on a trip to arizona to see the grand canyon with my high school. one of the questions my teacher wants me to get is why are the rocks in sedona red. i looked and looked but i couldn't find anything on it. thanks for the help
